It’s been a while since I’ve posted up a review but damn!

The mission of a true book addict is to find a diamond in the rough. Found it!
When I first started reading it, I thought I was going to read a Fifty Shades mock-up/Fan-Fic. After getting through the first chapter all I wanted to do was take a really cold shower.

When playboy businessman Jonas Faraday receives a private note from the anonymous intake agent assigned to process his online application to an exclusive club, he becomes obsessed with finding her and giving her the satisfaction she claims has always eluded her, in order to fulfill his own desperate need for redemption.”

Sarah: “When I read Jonas Faraday’s brutally honest personal message on his application to The Club—I practically climaxed at my desk. I’m an idiot to risk losing my job but I couldn’t resist contacting him. I knew my confession would be like dangling an irresistible carrot in front of his nose—but never in a million years did I think he’d actually hunt me down.”

Jonas: “I was shocked to get my intake agent’s email—I’d attached that note to my application on a whim, never expecting a reply from an actual person, let alone a reply as mind blowing as that. Her message was so alluring, so irresistible, I’ve been spiraling into a full-blown obsession ever since I got it. What’s her name? What does she look like? Finding her is my top priority.”

“What I needed was a normal return and boring return to campus, and Tattoos and Muscles was clearly going to be none of those things.”

If there is one thing that in the world that can get my panties in a twist, it would be cliff hangers! That moment when you pick up a great book and realize that “good gosh, I have to wait to read the next one?!”. Well readers, you are in luck! Not only should you read this delicious book but you need to pick up the sequel too!

Lorrie is not like any other average student. Having come back after facing a horrible tragedy, she is trying to start over and continue her life as normal as possible. Here enters Hunter. The guy who can make you forget you were even breathing. So dreamy that it is impossible to be real. And he wants to be Lorrie’s friend (well, not really but beggars can’t be choosers). It’s obvious from the beginning that they have their own secrets, Lorrie’s more obvious than his.  Who wouldn’t like some mystery?

Of course not everything is perfect. What girl in their sane mind would refuse a hot guy professing his feelings for her and still put up with her crazy. Find a guy like that and you keep him! I guess not everyone thinks like that, oh well. More for me!

This is definitely a great book to pick up on a weekend when you have nothing else going on. You will not want to put it down. Ms. West does an amazing job and I can’t wait to see more of her work! Way to go girl!

Roll out the Red carpet!

After a few years MIA, I have decided to come back. The Spunkyreads name originally was not going to stay but then I thought about it. How could I even think to start a blog with a different name? It’s just not possible. I am Spunkyreads and it is me.

I am very happy to say that I am back. No more breaks or distractions. That is unless I get deployed, but I have a feeling you guys would understand. With school in full swing and the itch to type, so be ready. I know I am.

Here is what to expect:

Awesome reviews

Author interviews

Swag bags and giveaways

and lots of other awesome stuff that can’t come to mind.

If you have any crazy ideas that seem so insane that no one should ever do it, let me know!
